Just kidding really. Like hosting is something anyone, other than those that actually sell it, ever get excited about.
We only deal with small businesses as we’re a small business too. We know how difficult it can be sometimes to find another business or person that understands what it’s like to run your own business and the effort required to do that well. We know, we understand.
We also realise that many of our customers just want the job to get done without giving it much, if any, thought. So for one single yearly fee we have included all the things that we know make for a smart, reliable, good value service.
If you choose to never want to know anything about the services and systems that make your website work then we fully understand – we know people that use the coffee machine with complete and blissful ignorance of what goes on inside – we get that! Leave it to us and it will simply get done!
Anyway, we have broken-down what we think to be the most relevant details of what our hosting services offer into two lists below – things that are really worth knowing (mostly – we’ve called this The Exciting Parts – how creative) and things you might, vaguely, possibly, perhaps be interested in (the Not-so-exciting Parts).
The Exciting Parts

- Inclusive Wildcard SSL Certificate – make your site https compliant without paying up to £50 per year extra for a security certificate!
- Inclusive iThemes Security Pro plugin for WordPress if site developed by us (typically costs nearly £60 per year in 2021)
- Specially optimised system for fast loading of WordPress sites
- Domain registration and renewal fees all included
- Automatic Malware Scanning
- UNLIMITED Mailboxes
The Not-so-exciting Parts
It’s not really fair to call the following ‘not-so-exciting’ because they’re still special – but only if you have any real interest I guess.
- No bandwidth limit
- UNLIMITED email forwarding
- Control Panel access if required
- Webmail for when you’re away from your usual email system
- Load Balanced and Redundant systems for maximum availability
- UK Data Centre
- PHP versions 8. to 8.5 supported (Jun 2026)
- Perl, Python and Ruby supported
- DB access via phpMyAdmin
The inevitable Terms & Conditions.
It’s inevitable there will be terms and conditions (when isn’t there) and ours can be read here but there are some extra ones we need to point out about our hosting services which are:
- the inclusive SSL certificate will remain free as long as Let’s Encrypt continue to make them so, which they should as it’s open-source
- the inclusive iThemes Pro WordPress security plugin will remain charge-free as long as iThemes continue to support it (currently the licence is paid until 2037!)
